Multitasking Yogi School

Grassroots Growth

Today’s Students are Tomorrow’s Teachers

Let’s begin to take the steps towards moving away from specialty services contractors coming from the OUTSIDE and instead empower those from WITHIN.

By certifying the young people of a community to become yoga instructors while they are in middle school and high school, wellness grows from a grassroots level and sets them up to graduate and immediately have access to employment opportunities. These young people can help spread the important message of mindfulness and self-care as relatable role models in their own communities.

Join Cohort #3

The momentum continues after the success of cohorts 1 and 2 which has seen classroom teachers, special education teachers, social workers, physical education teachers and dancers begin their children’s yoga teaching journey.

My vision is to get people certified — on their terms. That’s why the program dates work to suit full-time professionals and offers an affordable entry point of $800, compared other organizations charging $1,200 to $3,000.

Learn to provide and scale yoga and mindfulness in: pre-K through to high school settings, academic classrooms, after-school, gym class, advisory and more!

Colin is so thoughtful about every detail of the training, from the self practice, to philosophy and homework and every guest teacher he brings in. The time I spent over the past few months was well worth it- including the readings, meditations, and beginning lesson planning. Colin is so knowledgeable about everything and he makes every student feel seen, heard and encouraged. If you work with youth, this training should be mandatory! This content could change the world if it can get implemented in all schools and youth programs. I hope to be part of this movement, yoga and mindfulness is key for our healing and equipping young people with the tools to heal themselves.

This 95-hour certification program has been designed for:

Educators 🎓

Those already working in youth development and education can develop and strengthen their yoga and mindfulness knowledge to seamlessly integrate this work into their daily classes.

Yogis 🧘🏽

Practicing yoga instructors and wider fans of yoga can add an official Yoga Alliance certification to teach children’s yoga. They will be given the tools to build their business and grow their reach to work with more youth-based organizations.

Students 📚

The innovative format and structure of Multitasking Yogi School allows middle and high school students already taking Multitasking Yogi classes to be placed on a specialty mentorship and learning track to become certified teachers without any additional cost.

Having Colin as my mentor through this experience was amazing. Colin created a safe space for me to speak about my concerns, as well as my achievements and offered great suggestions that I was able to implement into my instruction. He helped me feel confident and empowered to continue working towards my goal of becoming an LFY yoga & mindfulness teacher.
