A picture book that makes it easy for all teachers to introduce mindfulness to classrooms. 

Mindfulness is all the buzz right now in education. Of the 11 schools I've been teaching in for the 2017-2018 school year, few have a school-wide policy or strategy to introduce mindfulness into the classroom. 

The bridge to have teachers embrace mindfulness strategies AND confidently implement tactics may be an ask that's a smidge too far. 

Leaving aside the new-age hocus pocus of what some may consider mindfulness to be, what has stood the test of time? Read-alouds. It's the hook to an elementary classroom's melody: students have come to expect it and teachers enthusiastically repeat it - each rendition with the excitement as if it were the first.
